Hey everyone. I'm Beeker, and this is my band. I started the band in the early summer of 2004,
along with my friend Jacob, a.k.a. "Jhawk", on bass. We also had some help from another friend, until we found
a third member. The band had a slow start at first, but we eventually found a guitarist Scott,
who joined in around christmas time that year. However, not too long after he moved on to play
for the band Paint Me Irrational in February, until he moved away later that year. Well, with that said,
in the spring we found a second temporary guitarist Jared, as well as a friend of his Chris
who wanted to join in. Chris was originally our vocalist, but would later become our guitarist.
Jared wasn't too fixed in our crew, and eventually went on to form his own solo gig. Chris
fell out for the time being. A couple weeks later I developed post nasal drift, which didn't go
away for a good 8 months, leading to me losing my voice. It wasn't until the summer of 2006 that
I found someone else to join. Thus, Robert, a.k.a. "Finch" became the new guitarist. Sadly, with the gain of
Robert, Jhawk had quit the band. Robert was committed to the band for quite sometime, but
even with the two of us we still needed a third person. In addition, he couldn't sing, and my
throat was destroyed thanks to allergies, so we were also in need of a vocalist. Lucky for us,
a year later summer of 2007 Kenny, who went to our youth group for years, and can sing,
became our new vocalist. Things were going a lot better now, as we had some songs, but we still
needed a third musician. Well, during my first semester of college I met Brandon in my english
class. Needless to say, he became our new member. Brandon was ultimately our lead guitarist,
but he played bass for the time being. Eventually, things went way down hill. Right around
christmas of 2007, there were some serious issues of conflict between Robert and I, he was
forever kicked from the band. A little while later everything went downhill. I entered a point
in my life where I closed off from the world around me for about 4 months, and lost contact with
virtually everyone. During which time, the band fell apart further, as I stopped communicating
with anyone, and I was at a lack of a practice facility. Eventually, I came back home in
anticipation to resume the life I left behind. I soon found out, that during my dark escape from
life, Brandon had moved to Atlanta to pursue becoming a missionary. Since then, the band has
been simply nothing more than just me and the instruments.
Well... It's been a rough and long journey trying to get a band going, but there is an upside. I have
plenty of sources for gigs, as well as a summer tour. The only problem is I need band members. So, if
you want to be in a band, or if you have any questions, or whatever, feel free to email me here, or
leave a comment on the band mysapce page. Really,
the only requirements is that you live in Gainesville, and have a mad passion or dream to be in a rock
band. I love music. It's my life, and if it's your life too then maybe this band is something to look into.
